Lafayette Jefferson Athletic DepartmentJefferson High School is a member of the IHSAA and North Central Athletic Conference. Jeff boasts 21 varsity sports and within each sport a need exists for dynamic, student-centered assistant coaches. If you are interested in being considered for a Jeff assistant coach in any sport please fill out an application.
After your interview if you are offered a position, you will be expected to complete a background check through Safe Hiring as soon as possible. A background check is required before you can begin coaching. This can be found on the LSC homepage at www.lsc.k12.in.us. Under the employment tab, go to Safe Hiring general applications. Please be aware that this is a two step process through Safe Hiring and Indiana DCS. After you've submitted your information through Safe Hiring, you will receive two emails from Indiana DCS/KidTraks for the second portion of your background check. This email expires after 10 days, so please be sure to complete it as soon as possible.
Once the HR department receives your completed background check, you will be sent a new hire packet to complete via Frontline Central. After your paperwork is complete, the HR department will reach out via email to set up a new hire appointment with you.
