JOB SUMMARY

KIOTI Tractor is looking for a skilled and hard-working Maintenance Technician with superb problem-solving abilities. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for all upkeep and repair duties, including maintaining interior and exterior spaces, identifying the need for repairs, responding to internal customers’ maintenance requests, and servicing company equipment as well as assisting external vendors with larger projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB

  • Perform minor building, plumbing, electrical, sheetrock, painting repairs as necessary.
  • Assist with janitorial related projects including floor care, window cleaning, power washing etc.
  • Inspect all company property routinely to identify problems with litter, mechanical failure or other breakdowns and report to Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Familiar with preventative maintenance measures.
  • Familiar with industrial life safety systems including but not limited to Fire Sprinklers, Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Lighting, etc.
  • Familiar with Lock Out/Tag Out
  • Complete routine inspections of offices and warehouse with Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
  • Must be able to respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol (including after hours).
  • Perform other maintenance related duties as requested.

EDUCATIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
  • A minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar industrial role.
  • Detail-orientated with an aptitude for problem-solving.
  • Professional presentation and attitude.
  • Willingness to uphold company standards for safety, service and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication, initiative, and self-motivation.
  • Valid state driver's license and insurance.
  • Ability to work with basic hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures.
  • Able to work well with minimal supervision.
  • Able to work in all weather conditions as well as the ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, and oils.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, and move about the facility.
