Responsibilities

  • Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
  • Operates assigned bank or window according to procedure.
  • Verifies previous count sheet from assigned bank, or, if window, count sheet from the Main Bank.
  • Counts down bank or window at end of each shift and reconciles to the Cage accountability.
  • Ensures that all key control procedures are executed according to established guidelines.
  • Ensures that contents of the banks are organized so they can be readily counted at shift changes.
  • Prepares and completes all job-related paperwork as approved in the internal Control Submission.
  • Assists with the NRT kiosk as needed in relation to emptying or filling the units.
  • Participates in and attends meetings as requested.
  • Completes Currency Transaction Reports as required by law.
  • Conducts "Verifications" (doubles) to ensure the accuracy of transaction being paid.
  • Maintains a clean, well-organized work area and environment.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all company

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • General cashiering background or prior money handling experience required.
  • Previous customer service experience required; Player Services or related experience preferred.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Must have exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills required; must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
