Summary:
The Aseptic Cleaner will be responsible for weekly and overnight sanitization of the clean room manufacturing areas. The position will also ensure that the detail, scheduling, and methods of cleaning are in compliance with regulations for maintaining the sterility of the clean rooms.
Essential functions:
  • Accurately measure and mix the cleaning chemicals according to the Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Provide an accurate record of daily and weekly cleaning activities according to the Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Perform the weekly and overnight sanitization of clean rooms
  • Remove trash from the production areas to the waste disposal in a prompt and sanitary manner.
  • Maintain general housekeeping of working area and plant.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and storage areas.

Requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a sterile environment preferred.

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must have strong discipline and following of Standard Operating Procedures repeatedly.
  • Must be able to learn gowning procedures and wear sterile Personal Protective Equipment, to include a respirator each day.
  • Physically capable of being on feet for 3 hours doing physical labor of cleaning the Clean Room
  • Strenuous work involving constant bending down, squatting, stretching and general agility to clean in difficult/hard to reach spaces.
