We appreciate your interest in joining the Freedom Boat Club family!

We are excited to offer the opportunity for an Junior Marine Shop Technician to join our growing team.

As an Junior Marine Shop Technician, you will have the chance to work on a variety of tasks in our shop and assist our field service team from time to time. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean and organized shop environment, completing maintenance and setup of shop-specific equipment and tools, installing gauges, horns, lights, stereos, troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues on all vessels. So we can ensure your learning progression, you will be required to follow our Junior Tech Proficiency Program. This is designed to take you from basic through to competent skills in all aspects of shop work.

You will also have the opportunity to carry out detailing duties such as buffing, sanding, bottom painting, polishing, and window cleaning, as well as assist with oil changes and parts replacement in the field. You may also be responsible for towing trailers and boats around Washington and operating a forklift within the shop environment (Training provided).

To be eligible for this position, you must have a high school diploma and good work ethic, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and be at least 21 years old.
