High rise window cleaners are professionals who specialize in cleaning the exterior windows of tall buildings, such as skyscrapers and office towers. They use specialized equipment like suspended scaffolds, ropes, and harnesses to safely access and clean windows at great heights. Their work not only improves the appearance of buildings but also helps maintain the integrity of the glass and frames. High rise window cleaning requires extensive safety training and knowledge of industry regulations.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a high rise window cleaner?

These skills and qualities are vital to ensure personal safety, deliver high-quality cleaning results, and maintain trust with clients in hazardous work environments.

High rise window cleaners follow strict safety protocols, including the use of harnesses, anchor points, and specialized platforms or bosun’s chairs. Daily routines often start with equipment inspections and safety briefings to ensure all gear is in optimal condition.
