Lobby Security Officer - Houston, TX 77027
$15.00/Hour | High-Rise Commercial Property
United Protective Services is seeking a professional and customer-focused Security Officer to provide a combination of lobby security and routine patrols at a high-rise commercial property in Houston.
The ideal candidate will have strong professional etiquette, communication skills, and situational awareness. This position requires someone who can provide a welcoming presence in the lobby while also conducting regular patrols to help maintain a safe and secure environment.
Schedule
  • Saturday-Sunday: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
  • Monday-Wednesday: Off
  • Thursday-Friday: 3:00 PM-11:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a professional security presence in the lobby and throughout the property.
  • Greet and assist tenants, visitors, and guests in a courteous manner.
  • Monitor and control access to the property.
  • Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols as assigned.
  • Monitor hallways, common areas, parking areas, and other designated locations.
  • Identify and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and security issues.
  • Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
  • Follow post orders, access-control procedures, and client expectations.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports.
  • Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, visitors, and emergency personnel.

  • Previous security or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and excellent etiquette.

  • Strong observation and attention to detail.
