Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol assigned areas of the healthcare facility on foot to ensure safety and security
  • Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, and sensitive/restricted areas
  • Control access by verifying identification and visitor credentials
  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, including disturbances or medical emergencies
  • De-escalate conflicts using calm and professional communication
  • Write clear and detailed incident and daily activity reports
  • Assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and general inquiries
  • Enforce facility policies and procedures in a respectful and professional manner
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary
  • Monitor CCTV systems and other security equipment
