About the Role:
The Project Manager oversees structural design from concept through construction, managing analysis, plans, specifications, and contractor submittals. This role leads junior engineers and BIM technicians, coordinates with clients, architects, and municipal agencies, and ensures projects are delivered on schedule and on budget. Typical projects include industrial, datacenter, warehouse, distribution, and low-rise multi-story buildings, designed using ETABS, RISA, SAP, and RAM.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead structural design and analysis for diverse building projects.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers and BIM technicians.
  • Review drawings and submittals for accuracy, compliance, and quality.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, and internal teams.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
  • Conduct meetings, provide updates, and facilitate decision-making.
  • Support business development through proposals, client relationships, and identifying opportunities.
  • Promote a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

What We're Looking For:
  • Strong structural engineering knowledge and proficiency with ETABS, RISA, SAP, and RAM.

Minimum (Required) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering or related field; and ten (10) years of relevant work experience in structural analysis and design of single and low-rise multistory buildings, including project management; or
  • Master's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering or related field; and eight (8) years of relevant work experience in structural analysis and design of single and low-rise multistory buildings, including project management.
  • Professional Engineer's (PE) license.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in performing and supervising the design and analysis of single and low-rise multistory buildings.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience utilizing software packages such as ETABS, RAM, RISA, PCA and SAFE.

Minimum (Required) Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Extensive knowledge of local and national building codes and design practices.
  • Knowledge of standard construction practices and the ability to work with contractors to address construction issues.
  • Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and team skills.
  • Knowledge of ETABS, SAFE, PCA or other similar design tools.
  • Ability to perform and supervise the design and analysis of mid to high rise buildings utilizing software packages such as ETABS, RAM, RISA, and SAFE.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
  • Master of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • Experience in precast and tilt-up buildings desired but not required
  • Experience with Revit and AutoCAD

This is a salaried, exempt position with an anticipated base salary range of $110,000-$128,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Most candidates are typically hired near the midpoint of the range, ensuring a balanced and equitable approach across our team.
