Direct Hire Opportunity

Lansing, MI

$85,000–$125,000 annually


Reliance One is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join a growing construction team in Lansing, Michigan. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a seasoned Superintendent with a strong background in ground-up multi-unit housing and high-rise construction who is passionate about leading projects from start to finish.


As a Superintendent, you will oversee daily field operations, coordinate subcontractors, maintain project schedules, champion jobsite safety, and ensure quality throughout every phase of construction.


Position Details:

• Direct Hire

• On-site

• Location: Lansing, MI (must be willing to work in both the Lansing and Brighton areas)

• Salary: $85,000–$125,000 annually


Superintendent Responsibilities:

• Lead project startup activities, including jobsite setup and coordination with the Project Manager

• Review project contracts, drawings, schedules, and site-specific plans

• Coordinate delivery and staging of long lead-time materials

• Conduct pre-construction meetings with subcontractors and manage trade partner schedules

• Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager

• Lead progress meetings with project stakeholders to review schedules, safety, and project status

• Maintain daily project logs, photos, and documentation within Procore

• Ensure quality workmanship and hold subcontractors accountable for performance and schedule commitments

• Manage RFIs, drawing updates, field changes, and project documentation

• Prepare and distribute weekly look-ahead schedules

• Champion jobsite safety through training, inspections, and compliance monitoring

• Coordinate inspections and oversee project closeout, including punch list completion

• Build strong client relationships while maintaining a professional and collaborative project environment

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and share project lessons learned with the team


Required Qualifications:

*MUST HAVE High Rise experience with 12 or more stories*

• Minimum of 10 years of experience leading construction crews as a Superintendent

• At least 5 years of construction experience on ground-up multi-unit housing projects

• Experience managing high-rise construction projects

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent work experience

• Valid driver's license

• Willingness to travel between Lansing and Brighton project locations
