Job description

Required Skills:

- Knowledge and experience with polishing marble floors and operating a floor buffer; polishing marble countertops; striping and waxing VCT tiles, and carpet cleaning using a carpet extractor and spin bonnet.

· General Cleaning – mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.

· Be able to remove three-yard dumpsters for trash pick-up; change burned-out light bulbs indoors and outdoors, polish brass fixtures throughout the property, provide initial response to possible leaks or other issues and be able to communicate with engineering over the phone. Other duties as assigned.

Park Towers is a luxury high-rise condominium complex. The HOA maintains all the common areas. The houseman position would involve all aspects of cleaning and initially responding to emergency calls, such as water leaks or plumbing clogs. You would need to interact professionally with staff and residents.

The starting pay for this position is $18.50 and will increase to $19.23 per hour, effective after your 90-day probationary period. Job references are required and will be checked.

The schedule is 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm, Thursday through Monday, with Tuesday and Wednesday off.

The position requires a background check, work reference check, drug screening and professional appearance. You cannot have visible tattoos on the hand, neck or face.

The job requires lifting up to 50 lbs, walking stairs, bending, stooping, and other strenuous physical activity.
