Distribution and Sales Support Associate - Aiken, SC

About the Job

As a Distribution & Sales Support Associate at our Aiken, SC location, you play a vital role in supporting our daily operations across delivery, warehouse, and customer service functions. Your day may start in the warehouse preparing shipments-accurately picking and packing materials for delivery-before heading out on local routes to deliver products safely and on time to our customers. Safety, accuracy, and professionalism are key as you represent Eastern Industrial Supplies at customer locations.

In addition, you will provide inside sales support by assisting with order entry, preparing quotes, or helping customers over the phone. You will work closely with vendors and team members to source materials, track order statuses, and ensure timely fulfillment. Whether answering customer questions, handling returns, or helping expedite an order, you play an important role in delivering a high-quality customer experience.


Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Driving

  • Load, secure, and deliver materials to customers and branch locations
  • Follow assigned routes and ensure timely, accurate deliveries
  • Communicate with team members regarding delivery status and issues

Warehouse Operations

  • Receive, stock, pick, pack and ship orders accurately
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklift, pallet jack, etc.)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Assist with inventory counts and material organization

Sales Support / Customer Service

  • Assist with order entry, quotes, and product sourcing
  • Communicate with vendors to check availability and place orders
  • Track order status and provide updates to customers and team members
  • Process returns, credits, and documentation accurately
  • Provide customer support with prompt, courteous service

This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that blends physical work with customer interaction. Your ability to stay organized, communicate effectively, and adapt to changing priorities will help you succeed and grow in this role.
