Group Fitness Instructors needed for a variety of GX class formats:

  • Yoga: Recurs every Monday or Saturday from 10a - 10:45a
  • Tai Chi: Recurs once a week (instructor choice) in the am
  • Dance cardio: Weekly recurring class day/time TBD

About the Role:

The Instructor/Trainer plays a crucial role in developing and delivering fitness programs that improve the quality of life of the people we serve. This position is responsible for creating engaging fitness routines/workouts that cater to diverse populations. The Instructor/Trainer will assess the effectiveness of fitness sessions and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes. By fostering a positive environment, the Instructor/Trainer will empower individuals to achieve their personal and health goals. Ultimately, the success of this role is measured by the overall impact to our client's lives.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be FUN, HIGH-QUALITY, and RELIABLE.
  • At least one year's recreation or physical fitness training experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Certification in a fitness modality (ex: Personal Training, Yoga, Zumba, Jazzercise, Tai Chi).
  • Current CPR and AED certification (the company will provide at no cost).
  • The ability to demonstrate and adjust equipment and to lift at least 25 pounds.


Responsibilities:

  • Arriving prepared and on-time for scheduled shifts and eliminating personal distractions while working.
  • Conducting self in a way that reflects favorably on Foresight Fitness and clients.
  • Displaying a positive and customer service-oriented attitude for clients and staff.
  • Effectively working and collaborating with a diverse guest and client population.
  • Effectively communicating, both orally and in writing.
  • Working independently to assess situations and make well-informed decisions.
  • Wearing clothing that is clean and appropriate per the Policies & Procedures Handbook.
  • Accurately and in a timely manner reporting time worked and participant counts as required.
