We are looking for a coach who understands the demands of competitive tennis and knows how to challenge athletes while building trust, confidence, discipline, and accountability. The right person will bring strong technical knowledge, an ability to connect with players, and a genuine investment in helping athletes develop over time.
Because we are a growing and evolving organization, this position will also support tournaments, camps, events, player evaluations, and other tennis initiatives as needed. We are looking for someone who is collaborative, adaptable, and excited to contribute to the continued development of our high-performance tennis program.

  • Help develop individualized goals and areas of focus for athletes
  • Create purposeful and competitive training environments that prepare players for tournament play
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback to help athletes understand and own their development
  • Reinforce expectations around preparation, effort, discipline, sportsmanship, and accountability
  • Support player evaluations and ongoing assessment of athlete development
  • Assist players with tournament and match preparation as needed

  • Participate in practices, match play, camps, evaluations, and other Tennis programming
  • Support the development and execution of training sessions and competitive programming

  • Help maintain consistency in coaching standards and player expectations across the program

Collaboration & Athlete Experience
  • Work collaboratively with strength & conditioning, recovery, education, and other performance professionals supporting Farm & Forge athletes
  • Build strong, professional relationships with athletes and families
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and communication with players and parents
  • Contribute to a positive, disciplined, and development-focused environment
  • Represent Farm & Forge professionally with athletes, families, coaches, guests, and the broader tennis community
  • Support tournaments, events, camps, and other organizational initiatives as needed

Qualifications
Required
  • Demonstrated experience coaching competitive junior, collegiate, professional, or other high-performance tennis players
  • Strong understanding of tennis technique, tactics, match play, and competitive player development
  • Ability to identify player development needs and translate them into effective coaching
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to motivate, challenge, and connect with athletes
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary athlete development environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, tournaments, and events
  • Ability to work on-site at Farm & Forge in College Grove, TN

Preferred
