Position Summary

The General Manager / Hospitality Leader is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations while ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and a positive team culture. This role requires a hands-on leader who can inspire teams, drive operational excellence, and maintain elevated brand standards in both upscale dining and high-energy hospitality environments.

Day in the Life
  • Oversee the entire daily operation in an extremely high-volume restaurant environment
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop both management teams and hourly staff
  • Drive exceptional guest experiences and maintain the highest standards of hospitality
  • Serve as the ultimate ambassador of brand standards, culture, and service execution
  • Promote a positive and respectful team culture built on teamwork and accountability
  • Effectively communicate with all levels of leadership and restaurant teams
  • Manage labor, sales, profitability, and operational efficiencies
  • Become a systems expert across all restaurant platforms including Toast, Restaurant365, Craftable, 7shifts, SevenRooms, and related technologies
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and company procedures
  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, training, and succession planning for future leaders
  • Lead by example with a hands-on management style and strong floor presence
  • Maintain calm professionalism and decisive leadership in high-pressure situations
Requirements
  • 3+ years of restaurant management experience in upscale dining, hospitality, nightlife, or high-volume restaurant environments
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong operational and financial management skills
  • Exceptional guest service and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Experience managing in fast-paced, high-expectation environments
  • Professional presence with strong leadership confidence and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands require
  • Experience with restaurant technology platforms and POS systems preferred
  • Passion for hospitality, food, beverage, and creating memorable guest experiences
