  • Laine Federal has an immediate need for an Unarmed Security Guard to undertake the surveillance of our premises and protection of our staff and visitors. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation.

  • Responsibilities
  • Patrol and monitor facilities and grounds as assigned for the purpose of preventing disruptions, confrontations, vandalism, illegal entries and other occurrences and diffusing hostile situations that detract from a safe environment.

    Assist visitors with securing proper identification. Identify unauthorized visitors, and escort them off property.

    Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence

    Report any suspicious activities when necessary to the local authorities.

    Address non-compliant persons and have them removed and trespassed by law enforcement

    Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions

    Requirements:

    High School diploma or equivalency is required

    5 + year's experience as security officer or guard Required

    Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety Must walk and stand 95% of the work shift.

    Excellent surveillance and observation skills

    Hourly rate of pay is $18 per hour. Active Security Guard License is Required**
