Requirements to apply:
  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
  • Must be willing to transport children as part of duties.
  • Subject to a mandatory background check. 

Responsibilities of Jovie sitters:
  • Transport children to and from after school activities..
  • Keep a watchful eye to ensure children feel secure and well-protected.
  • Prepare snacks as needed to keep everyone energized.
  • Become an honorary member of the family by building deep, trusting relationships with parents and kids alike.

Sweet Eureka family is looking for a patient, reliable, and consistent part-time after-school sitter for Fridays, starting in late September for the duration of the school year. The child is high-functioning autistic and an elopement risk, so while prior experience with autism is a major plus, it is not strictly required. Most importantly, they want to find an engaging caregiver who truly loves interacting, playing, and connecting with children.
