Job description

Precision Ceramics, USA Inc., is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our team.

  • We expect you to have previous knowledge of machining and programming. Training for our technical ceramics materials will be provided.
  • We are located in Palmetto, Florida, a short distance from Interstate 75.
  • We are a manufacturer of technical ceramic components for industries such as aerospace, scientific instruments, medical equipment, semiconductors, and high-energy physics.
  • If you have machining experience, we will train you on the materials you will be working with!

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience with CNC machines. Mazak experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with technical drawings.
  • Self-motivated, attention to detail
  • Open to learning new techniques and troubleshooting
  • Good verbal communication

Duties:

  • Develop CNC programs from drawings for production.
  • Analyze drawings to determine dimensions and to choose cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates
  • Modify existing programs for different machines
  • Maintain tooling database
  • Make manual program adjustments as necessary
  • Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process
  • Maintain equipment as necessary
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
