Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage rough and finish carpentry tasks including framing, drywall installation, and trim work.
  • Lead job sites and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to GCB quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specs.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Monitor site safety and ensure compliance with all safety standards.
  • Eventually lead your own crew and mentor junior team members.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites.
  • Track materials, tools, and daily progress efficiently.
  • Represent the company professionally to clients and partners.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of residential carpentry experience, with exposure to various trades.
  • Proven ability to lead on-site teams or projects.
  • Proficient in framing, drywall, finish carpentry, and trim installation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive work ethic.
  • Ability to read blueprints and take accurate measurements is required.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
