Job Summary:

As the Construction Project Coordinator I, II, you will ultimately be responsible for supporting project execution, coordinating project activities, and maintaining project documentation to ensure successful delivery. You will assist Project Leads and Managers with project schedules, budgets, reporting, and stakeholder communication while delivering organized and efficient project support. As the Construction Project Coordinator I, II, your customers are Project Managers, internal departments, clients, and project stakeholders, and you will make meaningful contributions to the company's success through effective coordination, accurate data management, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):

  • Support Project Leads and Managers to ensure projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets
  • Assist in assigning project tasks to appropriate team members and monitor progress through regular status updates
  • Coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with management and customers to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives aligned with organizational goals
  • Maintain project documentation, databases, and systems in accordance with company standards and best practices
  • Collect, monitor, and analyze operational and financial data to support project performance
  • Prepare and maintain internal and customer-required project status reports
  • Monitor project cycle times and identify potential schedule risks or delays
  • Communicate project status, milestones, and potential issues to Project Managers and customers as appropriate
  • Organize electronic files and manage project records for accuracy and accessibility
  • Provide administrative and data management support to improve overall project team effectiveness
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through timely communication and professional support
  • Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs

Required Qualifications:

Education, Licensing, and Certifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience

  • Telecommunications engineering or construction experience in either a field or office environment preferred
  • Experience supporting project management or project coordination activities preferred
  • Experience using project management software preferred
  • Familiarity with GIS systems preferred
