Job description

Description:

We are seeking an energetic, experienced, and compassionate physical therapist to join our group. The pelvic floor physical therapist will manage female patients with pelvic floor disorders, including urinary incontinence, bowel incontinence, pelvic pain, and pelvic organ prolapse. Patient management includes evaluations, follow-up visits, postoperative assessment, and implementation of non-surgical treatment modalities.

The pelvic floor physical therapist joining our team will take a compassionate approach when working with women experiencing pelvic floor disorders. The PT in this position must be open to collaborating within our care model at Woman Worx, partnering with health and wellness experts as well as alternative therapy specialists to provide the best possible treatment. Additionally, the therapist should be willing to undergo training in Urostym therapy and Sola Therapy for patient care.

WomanWoRx by Minnesota Womenโ€™s Care is a pelvic floor clinic and fitness center for women. WomanWoRx provides a unique, holistic approach to womenโ€™s health & wellness for women with pelvic floor issues. WomanWoRx blends clinical care of physical therapy, exercise physiology (personal training and fitness classes), and other alternative therapies. We are a multi-disciplinary team specializing in physical therapy, exercise physiology, chiropractic, fitness, health education, wellness, womenโ€™s health, and more. We are passionate about delivering the best conservative care for women with pelvic floor disorders. This position will be a key leader in our collaborative care model within WomanWorx, a division of Minnesota Womenโ€™s Care.

Urogynecology is a relatively new specialty, and because of that, there are few providers in the Twin Cities compared to other medical specialties. In addition, because of our commitment to providing the most personalized care to each of our patients, our providers offer a distinctive level of care.
