Commercial Glazier / Lead Storefront Installer

Location: Chicago, IL

CSC Aluminum & Glass Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Glazier / Storefront Installer to join our team.


We are looking for a dependable professional with strong field experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. This position is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a leadership role and become a key member of our company.

This is more than an installer position—we are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career and eventually help lead projects, support estimating, communicate with customers, and become an essential part of our operations.


Responsibilities


  • Install commercial storefront systems
  • Install curtain wall systems
  • Install commercial aluminum windows
  • Install commercial doors
  • Install Herculite door systems
  • Install custom shower doors and mirrors
  • Read and interpret shop drawings
  • Coordinate installations with field crews
  • Identify and solve installation issues in the field
  • Maintain high-quality workmanship
  • Communicate professionally with general contractors and customers
  • Help ensure projects stay on schedule
  • Serve as the field leader when needed

Qualifications


  • Minimum 5 years of commercial glazing experience
  • Strong experience with storefront, curtain wall, commercial windows, commercial doors, Herculite doors, shower doors, and mirrors
  • Ability to read construction drawings and shop drawings
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
