Position Summary: Assist production welders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment by preparing parts, feeding and removing assemblies, performing basic spot-weld tasks under supervision, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.
Essential Duties:
  • Load, position, and clamp parts for spot welding and assist welders during setups
  • Operate basic spot-weld equipment and hand tools per instruction and safety procedures
  • Inspect welded assemblies for visible defects and remove finished parts to staging areas
  • Clean and maintain work area, consumables, and basic tooling; report equipment issues
  • Follow written work orders, production schedules, and quality standards
  • Adhere to all safety, PPE, and lockout/tagout procedures

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; on-the-job training provided
  • Prior manufacturing or welding shop experience helpful but not required
  • Ability to read basic work instructions, measure to tolerances, and use hand tools
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks
  • Able to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed; 18+ years old

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing for long periods of time, lifting to 75 lbs, bending, and twisting stand sit, use hands to manipulate equipment.
Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
