Pediatric Radiologic Technologist

Note: Pediatric work experience is NOT required. A desire to serve children and families is essential. Children's has a robust orientation process.

Our Appleton location gives families in Northeast and Central Wisconsin convenient access to the state's only health system dedicated solely to the health and well-being of children and teens. Whether it's a sudden illness or a routine wellness check, we have it covered with compassionate care and expert attention every step of the way. The Urgent Care is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the primary care component continuing to operate during business hours Monday through Friday.

Job Summary

This job performs diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on minimizing discomfort and anxiety for pediatric patients and their families. In addition, you will operate and maintain state of the art radiology equipment.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures as well as operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment as acquired through completion of an approved curriculum of Radiologic Technology.
  • Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or ARRT and must maintain current Wisconsin state license as a Registered Radiographer.
  • Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.

*Monday through Friday 5pm-9pm

*Holiday rotation, hours 11am - 5pm (Typically one per year)
