Job description

Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking person to join a team that maintains our Terrain Based Learning (TBL) area and our Freestyle Terrain Parks. This is someone first on the slopes with an attention to detail and safety. Must be independent and able to work unsupervised at times.
Summary: Primary role is to maintain the Terrain Based Learning (TBL) and Terrain Parks, ensuring safety while maximizing enjoyment for our guests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create, maintain, and test the terrain areas
  • Be friendly and helpful to guests using terrain features
  • Promote the Ski and Snowboard School whenever possible
  • Represent Bromley by being polite, courteous, and professional
  • Must maintain a strong personal appearance standard
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Strong work ethic a must
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and flexible attitude
  • Ability to ski or snowboard at an intermediate or higher level
  • Caring and sensitive attitude toward our guests
  • Flexible in response to changing assignments and working in a fast paced environment
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to participate in strenuous activity in harsh weather conditions daily.
  • Must have the physical fitness to ski or snowboard for 4 to 6 hours
  • Be able to lift 40lb on frequent basis throughout the day in various weather conditions

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisor responsibility.
Work Environment:
This job operates primarily outdoors during the winter season, on snow.
Physical Demands:
This is a physically active role requiring several hours of standing and working outdoors; on and off snow. Must be able to lift and carry 40 lbs over uneven terrain.
