Job description

SUMMARY
ROHM Semiconductor is looking for a talented and energetic Inside Sales Representative to join our team! This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn more about our customers and product offering while utilizing your customer service, sales, and technical skills. You will communicate with current and future customers and internal business units, helping with sales support, product education, product selection, quoting and order coordination. Each day offers a variety of fun and exciting challenges for you to tackle, including but not limited to:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
  • Quotation entry, verification and analysis
  • Coordinate deliveries to customer, including allocation
  • Enter and maintain sales opportunities in CRM database
  • Consistently meets or exceeds metrics related outbound calls and open pipeline opportunities
  • Order samples, evaluation boards, and other goods for customers
  • Manage active vendor list
  • Prepare reports for customers, outside sales and managers as needed
  • Schedule sales appointments
  • Create customer meeting agendas
  • Prepare product materials or other items needed to executive F2F customer meetings
  • Enter, analyze and report monthly rolling sales forecast and annual sales forecast
  • Organize and participate in tradeshows, conferences, and exhibits
  • Assist with sales documentation and customer approval

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in customer service, account management, or selling
  • Demonstrated ability to move leads through entire sales process independently
  • Semiconductor or electronics industry experience
  • Data manipulation
  • Strong proficiency computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite /intermediate Excel (intermediate level), Internet and other computerized-systems (testing may be given).
  • Demonstrate professional business acumen
  • Strong communication abilities - oral, written, and listening
  • Possess effective organizational and negotiation skills
  • Strong command of English - oral and written
  • Fluent bilingual language skills - Japanese/English (Native)
