Helper Knollwood Club Jobs (NOW HIRING)

We’re searching for someone enthusiastic, who takes direction well, and who communicates easily with members and team members. The server assistant works closely with our main servers to make sure members get their food on time and their beverage glasses stay filled. You’ll be responsible for clearing plates and cleaning the table when customers leave, and then resetting it with tableware for the next guests.

A sense of urgency and organization is required to keep the kitchen and server stations fully stocked with condiments and other food items. You’ll learn our menu to address member questions and alert servers when members need them. You should be familiar with food safety rules and have some food service experience. $18 - $21 hourly

• Clear dirty dishes from tables, clean tables, and prepare for the next guests by resetting tables with clean silverware and napkins
• Bring customers beverages, refill glasses, bring extra plates or napkins to customers, and make sure condiments are refilled and brought to the table
• Bring customers to their tables, communicate with customers regarding any special needs, and relay any issues to the waiter
• Oversee restaurant stock and refill condiments as needed. Make sure each waiter station is filled with all the needed items
• Handle delivering food from the kitchen to the table on time. Ask if you can help with anything else before leaving the table

• Can stand on feet for extended periods of time, bend and lift for the shift’s duration as needed
• Must have knowledge of proper handling of food items and various kitchen tools
• Prior experience working in the food service industry is preferred, but not required
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required
• Willing to work some nights, weekends, and some holidays, plus pick up extra shifts if necessary
