Job description

Noelle serves as a gathering place for some of the city's most interesting voices and makers as it continues to contribute to the spirit that makes it so unique.

The Kitchen Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations within the kitchen, ensuring a smooth workflow and maintaining high standards of food preparation and safety.


Requested Tasks

  • Oversee opening and closing of kitchen
  • Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily tasks to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Provide training and support to kitchen staff, promoting skill development and teamwork
  • Assist in the development and testing of new recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in food preparation
  • Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring compliance with established standards
  • Assist in managing inventory and ordering kitchen supplies, ensuring all necessary ingredients are on hand
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
  • Adhere to Makeready's Guiding Principles
  • Additional duties and assignments as assigned


Requested Capabilities

  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Prior experience as a Kitchen Supervisor is highly preferred, ideally in a hotel or restaurant setting
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to train and motivate team members effectively
  • Property safety certifications
  • Prior experience working with inventory and food costs
  • Required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle/feel/work with objects & tools
