Our Data & Analytics teams build powerful stories and visuals that inform the games we make, the technology we develop, and business decisions that drive Epic.

In this role, you will

  • Build a deep understanding of our products and become an expert on all analytics data collected
  • Take accountability for the quality of data reported by our products, and work with engineering and QA to consistently monitor and improve our data
  • Support users of our self-service data pipeline, helping them understand the data they are using and teaching them appropriate methods to access and summarize it
  • Collaborate with the ecosystem analytics team to enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization
What we’re looking for

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a related field
  • Expertise with SQL and Python
  • Familiarity with time series modeling
  • Demonstrated skills in predictive analytics, especially within complex and high-dimensional environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience delivering presentations to senior leadership, including C-suite executives
  • Demonstrated understanding of both contemporary video games and analytics best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise with machine learning and PySpark
  • Experience with time series forecasting libraries such as Prophet
  • Experience developing and leveraging AI workflows
  • Experience with causal inference methods
  • Passion for the gaming industry

This role is open to multiple locations across the US (including CA, NYC, & WA).
