Customer Service Representative

Location: North Houston, TX (In-Office)

Just Made Foods is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to serve as a critical link between our customers and internal teams. This role is responsible for managing customer orders from receipt through delivery while ensuring exceptional service, inventory accuracy, and transportation execution.

The ideal candidate is a mature professional who remains calm under pressure, communicates effectively, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, enter, and process customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate order fulfillment and ensure timely delivery to customers
  • Manage inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles and help optimize inventory levels
  • Schedule and coordinate transportation, including FTL and LTL shipments
  • Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs) and other shipping documentation
  • Monitor and manage freight costs while identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency
  • Maintain proactive communication with customers regarding orders, shipments, and service needs
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Operations, Sales, and Accounting to ensure seamless execution
  • Resolve issues professionally and provide exceptional customer support
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service, order management, logistics, supply chain, or a related role within a CPG company
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, transportation logistics, and order fulfillment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional communication skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to remain composed and effective during high-pressure situations
  • Proficiency with SOS Inventory, QBO, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Reliable transportation and ability to commute easily to our North Houston office
