About Us:
Hayes & Lunsford Electric, LLC is a trusted provider of commercial electrical services across Upstate South Carolina. We specialize in high-quality electrical installations and maintenance for commercial and industrial clients, with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and craftsmanship. We are seeking entry-Level Electrical Helpers to support our crews throughout the Greenville, Anderson, and Spartanburg areas.
Job Summary:
This position is ideal for individuals looking to begin a career in the electrical trade. The Electrical Helper assists electricians and crew leaders with commercial and industrial electrical construction activities, including underground and above-ground installations, jobsite preparation, and general labor tasks. On-the-job training is provided, and employees may have the opportunity to pursue formal apprenticeship training through an external training provider as part of their career development.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with installing PVC conduit for commercial underground electrical distribution
  • Pull wire for commercial electrical installations
  • Dig trenches and excavations using hand tools and power equipment under general supervision
  • Assist electricians and crew leaders with daily commercial construction tasks
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Entry-level construction, concrete, or electrical experience preferred but not required
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for a minimum of 8 hours per day
  • Ability to work in various outdoor environmental conditions, including sun and wind
