Job description

We are always keeping an eye out for applicants who are friendly, enthusiastic, and who genuinely enjoy serving guests. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate.

This position has an Hourly rate AND receive tips at the point of sale, from on-line orders and cash tips at the table. ( Combine Hourly wage PLUS tips and you can range $12-$15 per hour)

Showmars has served the Carolinas with fresh, made-to-order food in a casual and family friendly environment since the Independence Boulevard location first opened its doors in 1982.
Showmars' founder, George Couchell (affectionately known as "Mr. C"), immigrated to the US from Greece as a young boy and grew up working in his family's restaurant. After graduating from Duke University and serving as a Naval Officer, he decided to follow his dream of opening a restaurant that was truly unique to the Queen City.
Mr. C founded Showmars with an innovative idea; to combine fast-food and formal dining. Customers would order and pay for their food at the counter, while a friendly wait staff would serve them at the table. Showmars' wide range of menu flavors appealed to a large customer base in variety and value, while maintaining a fresh and fast guarantee.
More than 40 years later, Showmars continues to grow while upholding Mr. C's vision. With its reputation for offering quality food at a great value, exceptional customer service and a comfortable atmosphere, it's easy to see why everybody loves Showmars!
