Your Role

• Responsible for all functions and paperwork relating to receiving
• Operates machinery including baler and forklift in a safe and proper manner
• Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for receiving all products entering the store
• Invoice management
• Receives all product for the store, inspecting for shortages, overages, damage, and quality.
• Works closely with the inventory manager to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
• Delivers or routes products to appropriate departments or storage areas.

About You

• 1-2 years prior receiving experience, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
• Monday - Friday (Early Morning Availability)
• Able to understand proper retail receiving
• Ability to perform basic math operations
• Basic computer knowledge
• Able to communicate professionally with vendors and team members
• Ability to exert moderate, though not constant, physical effort - typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Requires the ability to reach, bend, balance, lift and transport various objects weighing up to 40 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Requires the ability to move heavier objects with assistance.
• Ability to pull palatalized product up to 1000 lbs
