Job Description
Delivery Driver Job Summary
We're seeking dependable, hardworking, and customer-focused Delivery Drivers to join our elite team. No prior delivery experience is required-just a strong work ethic, a valid driver's license, and a desire to make people smile. Drivers must report to and be able to commute on workdays to DIA6 in Cherry Valley, IL. You'll be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing top-tier service.
Delivery Driver Responsibilities
Safely operate delivery cargo vans and box trucks across assigned routes
Load and unload Amazon packages using manual handling or warehouse equipment
Follow delivery schedules and adapt quickly to traffic or route changes
Use handheld technology to manage deliveries, scan Amazon packages, and solve delivery obstacles
Deliver goods with care and professionalism, ensuring positive client interactions
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
Keep delivery vehicle clean and care for company equipment
Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
Uphold Amazon's high standards for safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Delivery Driver Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years old
Valid, non-probationary driver's license required
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. (most packages under 5 lbs.)
