Job description

This role will serve as a key connector between national narratives and local execution-guiding market-level storytelling for new delivery launches, fast delivery offerings, and customer experience innovations. The ideal candidate is strong at building repeatable playbooks, managing local media engagement, and translating national priorities into locally relevant, high-impact moments.
Key job responsibilities
-Lead and execute local media strategies to support Amazon's fast delivery speeds programs and launches.
-Develop and scale playbooks for local communications across delivery programs, ensuring consistency while enabling market-specific storytelling.
-Drive local media engagement for key initiatives, including new site launches, service expansions, and delivery innovations.
-Plan and execute local media events, tours, and experiential moments that showcase Amazon's delivery network and customer benefits.
-Translate national campaigns into locally relevant narratives that resonate with regional media and communities.
-Partner closely with business, operations, and Comms teams to align on launch timelines, messaging, and execution.
-Write and execute communications plans.
-Develop and write press releases, media pitches, and owned channel content.
-Build relationships with reporters from key media outlets.
-Manage reactive media inquiries and issues with a focus on local and community impacts.
