Pay: $13.00 per hour

Job Description: Part-time Companion/Sitter

We are looking for a professional, dependable, motivated person who is passionate about caring for individuals with developmental disabilities.

This position would be perfect for someone wanting a part-time weekend-only job.

Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:

  • Assists clients in all activities of daily living and goals set in their personal plan.
  • The client will be picked up at their home in Bloomingdale and transported to possible scheduled activities in Savannah each Saturday and Sunday and be supervised/supported as they participate in those activities.
  • Accurately complete daily documentation and other record-keeping duties online and carry out all assignments as required.
  • Willing and able to competently perform all duties and follow instructions, policies, and procedures set by Choices of Change and all regulating agencies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have reliable transportation and can provide valid proof of car insurance.
  • Must have a current valid Driver's License & Social Security card or work visa.
  • Must pass local and national criminal background checks.
  • Must have TB test results & physical (less than a year old).
  • Must have or be willing to get CPR/First Aid Certified within 60 days.
  • Must have access to the internet daily.
  • Must have acceptable MVR (7-year report).
