Step into a client-facing leadership role whereyou'llmanage key private equity fund relationships and oversee the full spectrum of alternative investment fund accounting, from capital activity and waterfalls to financial reporting and audits. How You Will Make an Impact

  • Supporting all aspects of ad-hoc reporting

  • Performing month-end close processes

  • Accurate calculation of fund NAV's

  • Production of investor allocations and calculation of management/ incentive fees

  • Posting accounting entries to ledger

  • Working with various products including bonds, swaps, CDOs, ABS, equities, options, FX, repos, and futures

  • Working on a global team whichis responsible forreconciling cash/securities to outside sources, pricing the fund portfolios, and calculating daily profit and loss

  • Assistingwith researching internal differences between the accounting and trade entry systems

  • Working with auditors to prepare and present year-end financial accounts

  • Managing and mentoring a team

RequiredExperience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountingor related fieldrequired

  • 6-8+ years' experience in Accounting or Back Office Operations working for a Prime Broker, Administrator, Hedge Fund, Investment Advisor or Audit firm

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and corporate actions

  • Prior experience with various products including equities, fixed income, repurchase agreements, futures, FX,Mortgagesandoptions

  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge

  • Solid hands-on supervisory experience and the ability to delegate effectively
