Linguistic Quality Assurance Reviewer (Native Hebrew Speaker)

Our team works across locations in North America, Europe, and Asia serving our global clients in the markets that matter to them.

We are looking for a native Hebrew speaker to join our team as an Linguistic Quality Assurance Reviewer with a terminologist experience.

This role involves providing Hebrew designations for a conceptual termbase, focusing on terms related to parts, engines, motors, and technologies used in modern trucks and buses.

The ideal candidate will ensure the English definition is the basis for translating, copy-editing and conducting quality checks in his/her native language and locale as well as the accuracy and consistency of terminology across the term base.

The Hebrew LQA reviewer will also need to be fluent in English (UK) as the source terms and all data at concept level is in English UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement live LQA (from English into Hebrew)
  • Content Specialty: Technical Specifications
  • CAT Tool: working with XTM/Phrase
  • Expected volume: less than 500 words/weekly
  • Hebrew translation and identify any issues related to grammar, spelling, punctuation, fluency, terminology, consistency, or style. Conduct improvements where necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Terminology Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience translating and reviewing content in the specified subject matter.
  • Terminology Management: Proven experience in terminology management, preferably in a professional setting or specialized industry. Familiarity with terminology management principles, processes, and tools is required.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of database management, data entry, and file management processes.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of terminology specific to the automotive industry, with an emphasis on trucks and buses part denominations and technologies. Understanding of HIM and driving assistance technologies.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and precision in terminology management.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze complex terminology challenges and provide effective solutions.
  • Terminology Tools: Familiarity with word track changes tool, or Jira, terminology management software and tools is a plus. Experience with database management and file organization is advantageous.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize them effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
