Northrop Grumman is currently seeking out a mission-driven Driver Heavy Vehicle to join our Aerospace Systems Transportation & Logistics Team at our Clearfield, UT.

location. This position does require travel up to 25% of the time. Supporting B shift Mon-Thurs (4 -10hr shifts 2pm-12:30am) And willingness to work any shift if needed.

Job Responsibilities: Operate heavy-duty trucks (typically with either a semi-trailer or equivalent heavy-duty trailer) as a commercial driver to transport materials, merchandise, or equipment within but not limited to, industrial areas, over the road (OTR), and local. Accountable for all aspects of safe operations of vehicle and equipment used to facilitate transportation of materials, merchandise, or equipment. Ensures proper loading or unloading of materials, merchandise, or equipment onto trucks, trailers, and or company and government assets.

Organize loads to minimize delivery times, reduce waste , and drive efficiency. Make minor mechanical adjustments as required and maintain the cleanliness of equipment. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma 2+ years of heavy driving experience Valid Class A CDL Valid HazMat Endorsement Clean MVR (no violations in past 12 months).

Must be less than 30 days old from day of request Meets all DOT pre-employment requirements (FMCSA Clearinghouse) Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S Government Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access. Must be able to pass a New Hire Physical prior to start

Preferred Qualifications: Active U.S Government Secret Clearance with investigation completed in the last 5 years Knowledge of DOT & FMCSA regulations. A Valid Class A CDL Current Hazardous Material and Passenger Endorsements. 4+ years commercial driving experience operating transportation vehicles with a GVWR of 26,001lbs

or more and its equivalent in on-the-job training as a forklift operator. Oversize Load movement and permitting process familiarity. Pilot & Escort license to support oversize movements.

Ability to read in-plant handling manual instructions, including special tie-down arrangements. Experience with basic computer software including Word, Outlook, Excel, and the ability to operate mobile devices (iPad, iPhone). Primary Level Salary Range: $23.27 - $38.75 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
