Job description

We provide mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) construction to institutional and government organizations. We are a design-build contractor with extensive BIM and LEED expertise, as well as specialty experience working on complex marine, pump station, and water and wastewater projects.


We are seeking an experienced Plumber/Pipefitter with a strong background in heavy mechanical and industrial piping systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working on large-scale mechanical projects, including installing and running pipe through pump stations. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems for pump stations and heavy mechanical applications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings
  • Measure, cut, thread, weld, braze, and fit pipe (carbon steel, stainless steel, ductile iron, PVC, HDPE, etc.)
  • Set and connect pumps, valves, fittings, supports, and related equipment
  • Ensure piping systems meet job specifications, codes, and safety standards
  • Perform pressure testing, inspections, and troubleshooting as needed
  • Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and lifting equipment
  • Coordinate work with supervisors, foremen, and other trades on site
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety regulations

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a plumber or pipefitter on heavy mechanical or industrial projects
  • Proven experience working in pump stations or similar facilities
  • Strong working knowledge of piping systems, layouts, and materials
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
  • Familiarity with local plumbing and mechanical codes
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces when required
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • OSHA 10 or 30 (preferred but not required)
  • Pipefitting or plumbing certification/licensing (preferred, where applicable)

  • Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
  • Comfortable standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in industrial environments

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions


  • Industrial and construction job sites, including pump stations
  • May involve confined spaces, elevated work areas, and exposure to mechanical equipment
