Job description

Position: CNC Machine Operator

Reports To: Shift Supervisor


Direct Reports: No Direct Reports for this role


Summary

A CNC Machine Operator is required to ensure the safe, efficient operation, and cleaning of their machine(s). Responsible for the maintenance of prescribed quantity and quality of product produced.


Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain high production numbers for daily goals
  • Produce product with an emphasis on quality
  • Load raw material into machine
  • Operate / run machinery
  • Unload and deburr finished part
  • Offset tools as required
  • Follow running instructions
  • Provide feedback and maintenance requests to improve machine performance
  • Complete all assigned Quality checks
  • Participate in training and cross training, improvement initiatives including health and safety and quality improvement
  • Adhere to all workplace safety policies, compliances and regulations
  • Use all required safety equipment, e.g. Steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses / goggles, etc.
  • Other tasks and duties may be assigned

Work Conditions

  • Lift no more than 40lb
  • Safety equipment may be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
