Full time and part time MACHINE OPERATOR

2nd and 3rd shift

Job Description

You will load and unload machines, handle materials, and use hand and power tools while working safely around furnaces, heat treating equipment, and heavy machinery. The position offers structured training, cross-training across multiple areas, and a clear pathway for advancement into higher-level machine operator roles.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of production equipment, including drill presses, shear presses, punch presses, straightening presses, torches, saws, and related machinery.
• Load and unload machines with raw materials and finished products in a safe and efficient manner.
• Handle materials throughout the production process, including using overhead cranes, forklifts, and CombiLift equipment to move products.
• Monitor machines during operation to ensure products move correctly through each stage of the process and meet quality expectations.
• Use hand and power tools to support production, maintenance, and general shop activities as required.
• Clean quench tanks and maintain a clean, organized work area to support safe and efficient operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carpentersville, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
