We have an immediate full-time opening for a Dredge Operator/Heavy Equipment Maintenance worker at our sand & gravel Plant in Cordova, IL. The individual in this position must be dedicated to safety and comfortable working around water and in all weather conditions, as they will be working on a dredge located on the water. Candidates must be dependable and available to work overtime as needed.

Major Operator responsibilities include:
  • Operating and maintaining heavy machinery
  • Maintaining and repairing all equipment
  • Properly following all company policies and adhering to all governmental regulations
  • Welding, repair, and fabrication on equipment associated with a dredge/sand operation

The ideal Operator candidate will have:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • A focus on safety and a strong work ethic
  • Experience operating and maintaining Heavy Equipment
  • A background in dredge operations is preferred
  • A strong mechanical aptitude
  • Proficiency in fabrication and welding is preferred
  • A valid driver's license
