About the Role

As an Install Apprentice at Clarks Heating & Cooling in Dickson, TN, you will play a vital role in supporting the installation of residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career in the HVAC industry while learning from experienced professionals.

As an apprentice, you'll work alongside skilled installers and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of the trade. You'll rotate through multiple departments—including the shop, rough-ins, and change-out crews—to develop a well-rounded understanding of HVAC installation. Your contributions will help ensure every installation is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials safely.
  • Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and various weather conditions.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
  • Assist lead installers with residential and light commercial HVAC installations for both retrofit and new construction projects.

  • Rotate between the shop, rough-in crews, and change-out teams to gain hands-on experience in every aspect of HVAC installation.
  • Assist with testing and inspecting newly installed HVAC systems to ensure proper operation.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with team members and customers throughout the installation process.
