Job description

Olsten Staffing is partnering with a well-established company in the Cheraw, South Carolina area in recruiting for a 2nd shift Press Washer Operator. Please apply now if you would like to be a part of a great company!
The press washer operator is responsible for operating industrial washer machines, loading and unloading materials, sorting and packaging parts, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a hot manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial press washer machines safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload metal boxes onto the washer conveyor.
  • Sort, inspect, and package parts as needed.
  • Move pallets and materials using a manual pallet jack.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting to resolve minor equipment issues.
  • Record shift production accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area around the washer equipment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and wear all required PPE.
  • Assist with other production-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic equipment troubleshooting.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials throughout the shift.
  • Comfortable working in a hot manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a dependable work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Schedule & Compensation
