PT Medical Sonographer (Ultrasound Technician)

We are searching for a PT Medical Sonographer (Ultrasound Technician) to join our innovative Wellness program and work in Austin Texas Area.

The Ultrasound Technician will perform echocardiographic exams, screening of all arterial and venous, upper and lower extremities, and screening of thyroid, aorta, and renal exams. Screening and Diagnostic exams may be performed.

Essential Functions:
  • Perform patient exams.
  • Carotid ultrasound.
  • Thyroid ultrasound.
  • Aortic aneurysm screening.
  • Kidney ultrasound.
  • Echocardiogram (training will be provided).
  • Submission of high-quality images and documents.
  • Enter and maintain accurate electronic patient records.
  • Ensure patient rooms are clean, sterilized, safe, and organized with adequate supplies and well-functioning equipment.
  • Communicate with patients, helping each understand the screening process.
  • Deliver compassionate patient care and customer satisfaction.
  • Precise, professional communication with management team.
Education and Experience:
  • 1 year of experience.
  • Certified Medical Sonographer.
  • Preferred: Registered Vascular Technician or Vascular Ultrasound Technician.
  • Must be willing to train on Echocardiography.
  • Accountability.
  • Attention to detail.

Job Type: Part Time

Pay Range: From $36.00-$43.00 per hour.

Expected hours: Varies: 20 to 36 hours per week.

Schedule: Day shift. Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays).

  • Sonography: 1 year (Required).
  • ARRT Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Commute: Richardson TX and around DFW area. Reliable transportation (required).

Willingness to travel: 20% (Preferred).

Work Location: In person - Austin Texas
