Position Summary

The Night Shift Marketer is responsible for developing and maintaining referral relationships with hospitals, emergency departments, behavioral health providers, law enforcement agencies, community organizations, and other referral sources during evening and overnight hours. This position serves as a liaison between referral sources and the facility to facilitate admissions, increase census, and ensure timely response to referral inquiries.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Marketing
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with referral sources during evening and overnight hours.

  • Conduct outreach to hospitals, emergency rooms, urgent care centers, crisis units, physician offices, and community agencies.

  • Promote facility services, programs, and treatment options to potential referral sources.

  • Represent the organization professionally at networking events, community meetings, and healthcare functions as assigned.

  • Identify new referral opportunities and market trends.

Admissions Support
  • Respond promptly to referral inquiries received during assigned shift.

  • Assist referral sources with admission requirements and processes.

  • Coordinate with Admissions, Nursing, and Clinical staff to facilitate patient transfers and admissions.

  • Track referral activity and provide updates to leadership.

  • Follow up on pending referrals to maximize admission opportunities.

Relationship Management
  • Provide excellent customer service to referral sources, patients, and families.
