As a Security Officer Visitor Registration in Calhoun, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor and badge access, and respond to access control and alarm-related activity. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor badges, maintain access logs, and help control entry and exit of personnel and vehicles.
  • Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or policy concerns.
  • Document incidents, access-control activities, and relevant observations accurately and communicate concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
