These services follow strict hygiene and infection control protocols to ensure that all items are free from contaminants and safe for patient and staff use. The process includes sorting, washing, disinfecting, drying, ironing, and packaging, often with traceability systems to track linen usage. Healthcare laundry services play a crucial role in preventing the spread of infections and maintaining a safe healthcare environment.
