Job description

This is position is NOT remote. 100% onsite requirement, Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities
  1. Participates in planning, implementing and evaluating clinical systems programs/products/ systems
  2. Serves as a resource for clinical systems programs/products/systems
  3. Is responsible for ensuring and documenting the sustained clinical systems proficiency of staff
  4. Participates in area specific and hospital-wide clinical systems orientation
  5. Serves as area's Clinical Systems Council Chair
  6. Uses adult learning principles to participate in the planning, design, implementation, evaluation and sustained performance of clinical systems education opportunities and workshops for staff.
  7. Serves as the facilitator and coordinator for the implementation and ongoing maintenance of clinical systems programs/products/systems and policies and procedures
  8. Maintains familiarity with a variety of medical problems, technical training and use of equipment pertinent to area.
  9. Manages unit specific clinical systems competency program; determines competency needs, continually evaluates staff on clinical systems performance
  10. Ensures current documentation of clinical systems competency requirements for staff.
  11. Participates in hospital-wide QI Program and assists in JCAHO and other regulatory preparation.
  12. Formulates unit-based clinical systems QI measurement indicators.
  13. Continually evaluates clinical systems QI results and implements and monitors improvement changes as necessary.
  14. Prepares written/verbal reports on clinical systems QI findings and actions taken.
  15. Maintains accessibility to nursing staff on all shifts.
  16. Consults on clinical systems issues
  17. Establishes clinical systems departmental objectives with leadership team and Clinical Informatics Dept.
  18. Serves as resource in day to day management of clinical systems.

Qualifications
REQUIRED
  1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  2. Two (2) years' experience in clinical area.
  3. Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

PREFERRED
  1. B.S. degree in Nursing.
  2. Three (3) years' experience in clinical area.

8am-5pm
